We provide minibus driver awareness training so that drivers can have a higher level of skill and confidence when driving a minibus. You must have a MiDAS certificate to drive any of Aberdeenshire Council, Moray Council and Banffshire Partnership minibuses. All drivers need to be aware of the current laws pertaining to minibus driving. For example, anyone who passed their driving test after January 1997 cannot drive a minibus over a certain weight. Basically, 99.9% of minibuses with 17 seats will be over the weight limit. We cover all the relevant law during the training course, but please feel free to contact us for more information. We want you all to be safe on the road.
If you intend to drive a wheelchair user, we can also provide this training as part of the MiDAS course.
